1973 Daytona 24 Hour winnerAmalgam Porsche 911RSR 1973 2.8 Brumos Daytona 1:18 scale
This is the famous BRUMOS 911 RSR #59, driven by Hurley Haywood to the first of his five 24h of Daytona wins.
With its 2.8 litre air-cooled, naturally aspirated, flat six engine, the 1973 911 RSR was a significant step forward when compared to the 911 RS of the time. The RSR was notably wider in the front and the rear compared to standard 911s and the fibreglass front bumper had the signature single central air intake for the large oil cooler, which would allow the rear engine to produce 280bhp at 8000 rpm and let the RSR sprint from 0-100km/h in just 4 seconds.
A brand new model from Amalgam's 1:18 scale series. The model is a 'kerbside' model with beautiful paint finish and a totally accurate recreation of this stunning car. Amalgam's 1:18 models are the finest quality and accurately detailed 'kerbside' models available anywhere in the world.
The model sits on a black plinth with a plaque detailing the model and a perspex cover containing a leather bound folder with notepad.
