Spark models version of this famous Le Mans winner. The model look fantastic mounted on an unusual cream base but it really shows off the black paintwork well
This was the first Le Mans win for the British built Ford GT40, designed and build with the intention of ending the 6 year domination of Le Mans by Ferrari. Driven by Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon Ford took a 1,2 with the GT40 both car finishing 21 Laps ahead of the nearest non GT40, the Porsche 906.
Model comes mounted on a cream base with perspex cover. and outer box.
